$48-Million Capital Program At GM Powertrain Bedford
Facility renovations will begin in July at the GM Powertrain facility in Bedford, IN, and will total $48 million for new melting capacity for the foundry, as well as new machinery, equipment, and tooling to support the higher production volume. GM is increasing the total volume of transmission cases and converter housings produced at the site. Read more

3M Chooses Korea For New Manufacturing Plant
In order to meeting Asia's need for respiratory protection products, 3M chose Hwaseong, Korea, for its new manufacturing facility. Located 20 miles outside of Seoul, the plant will manufacture maintenance-free respirators and elastometric facepiece respirators. Read more
